Hi, I’m Doug! Your current Secretary Treasurer at Local 2. I'm here to make sure your needs are met and your future is secure!

I grew up in Chicago's western suburbs, went to Proviso West High School, and later studied at Iowa State University.

My journey as a Laborer began in 1991 with Kenny Construction, where I worked on deep tunnel Projects in the Chicago area and throughout the country

I was promoted to Foreman and finally Superintendent before being recruited to join Local 2 as your Secretary treasurer.

In 2003, I joined Local 2 to strengthen its foundation. Now, after 21 years, I'm seeking re-election against an opponent with zero experience in this role.

I've fought hard to improve things for you. I've settled disputes, brought in more work for our members, and negotiated better pay and benefits.

Our healthcare is leading to best healthcare in the nation, and your wages have gone up significantly over the years.

I've worked to grow our union, and it's paid off. We have more members now, and our finances are strong.

I need your support to keep fighting for you. So please, vote for me, and let's keep making Local 2 one of the best unions around.
